USAI Residential Equestrian programs combine experienced horses, qualified staff and excellent facilities to create a positive atmosphere where campers can focus on horsemanship. These programs allow international students the opportunity to advance their horseback riding skills, expand their horsemanship knowledge and enjoy riding with American friends. All programs are accredited by the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) and uphold the highest safety standards

Equestrian Camp:
For girls ages 10 to 15, this is an exciting specialty program designed for girls who want to spend time with horses and still participate in traditional camp activities. Campers are assigned their own horses for two weeks and spend several hours each day riding. Their camp village is staffed by special horse counselors who are selected for their exceptional skills with campers and horses. During the two week session campers will have the opportunity to go to waterfront, arts & crafts, climbing, and participate in other camp activities while living in their own cabins

Ranch Program:
For girls ages 10 to 15 looking for a more intensive experience, the Ranch Program is a completely independent camp. It is equipped with its own dining hall, Mongolian style yurts and bathhouse and supported by an on-site nurse and chef. Each day girls will be responsible for their own horses including feeding, grooming, tacking and cleaning. After preparing their horse they will spend 2-5 hours in the saddle improving their riding skills during lessons and exploring miles of trails.

Ranch Leader:
For girls 13 to 16, the Ranch Leader option is for young women who have intermediate riding experience. This program offers training in how to teach riding lessons, guide trail rides and work at the barn. Leaders shadow the riding staff to develop the leadership skills essential to working with children and horses. The emphasis is on decision-making skills, effective instruction, leading by example and working as a team. Riding staff mentors also help individuals improve their riding skills.
