Program Description:
The USAI Academic Year program provides international students the opportunity to spend a year or semester studying at an American private secondary school. Students can choose to stay with an American host family or on-campus at a school dormitory residence.
Attending an American private school is an ideal way to broaden a student’s horizons personally, academically and professionally. Students improve their levels of comprehension and communication in English, deepen their understanding of day-to-day life and acquire a considerable wealth of knowledge of the American private school educational system. USAI partners with a wide range of private schools where international students study side-by-side with their American peers. The schools we work with are located in the New York Tri-State area, Pennsylvania, New England, California and the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. These schools are highly respected private institutions with first-class academic staff and magnificent sports facilities. This program is recommended for children with at least an intermediate level of English.
